Additionally, on the weekend of April 5th and 6th, the Bluefin Tuna Festival will take place at the port of L’Ametlla de Mar, featuring tastings, live music performances, and various activities to learn more about the importance of this delicacy in the region’s cuisine. This year, live cooking demonstrations will also be held, offering an exclusive chance to see expert chefs in action.
During spring, you can also enjoy the "Fideus Rossejats" Gastronomic Days taking place from May 23rd to June 1st, where you’ll have the chance to taste this traditional local dish. On May 25th, the 29th Fideus Rossejats Festival will be celebrated, offering everyone the opportunity to savor this specialty in a lively and festive atmosphere. Around forty amateur chefs will compete to prepare the best fideus rossejats, adding a fun and competitive touch to this beloved local tradition.

The GR92 is a long-distance hiking trail that follows the Catalan coastline, and the section passing through L’Ametlla de Mar is one of the most stunning and unspoiled parts of the route. This trail winds along crystal-clear coves, cliffs, and white pine forests, following a well-marked path. Highlights include Cala Forn, Cala Vidre, and Cala de l’Estany to the north of the town, as well as Port de l’Estany and l’Illot to the south—perfect spots to take a break and soak in the breathtaking scenery. In the southern area, where the landscape remains more unspoiled, you can explore breathtaking beaches like Santes Creus, Cala Llenya, and l’Estany Podrit. Each of these beaches is part of a unique and pristine natural setting, perfect for relaxation and exploration.
Efímurs is an initiative that promotes culture and tourism through urban art, positioning itself as a key part of Catalonia’s outdoor museum circuit. This project was born from the collaboration between the Tourism Department of L’Ametlla de Mar’s Town Hall and funding from the European Next Generation funds.
Currently, Efímurs features 14 large-scale murals, each showcasing different artistic styles within the urban art discipline, all inspired by maritime themes. This initiative has not only enriched the town’s landscape but has also brought this artistic expression closer to both the local community and visitors.
Since its launch, the project has been a resounding success, attracting numerous visitors with its visual impact and unique charm. Efímurs has become a must-see for art and cultural tourism enthusiasts, offering a distinctive way to experience contemporary open-air art while exploring the beauty of L’Ametlla de Mar.
