Popular Gastronomy: The “Fideus Rossejats” Festival
The “Fideus Rossejats” Festival is here! A tradition in our town for the past 24 years. On this day, around forty amateur chefs will show us their different ways of preparing this typical dish of our town, “Fideus Rossejats”. They will compete against each other, and six winners will emerge.
This event is part of the Gastronomic Days of “Fideus Rossejats” in the Cala. Visitors will be able to taste “Fideus Rossejats” as well as a tasting of blue fish prepared by local chefs. We will also enjoy the Wine Cellar Exhibition of the DO Terra Alta, where we can taste the varieties of white garnacha, which pair perfectly with “Fideus Rossejats” and fish.
Throughout the morning, there will be a display of nautical entities as part of the Festa de la Mar, where activity companies will offer special offers and discounts, and we will be able to discover the wide range of activities that can be carried out in L'Ametlla de Mar.
At the same time, the event will be enlivened by the performance of the "Suquet Calero" Brass Band and the local and beloved singer-songwriter, Miquel del Roig.
Remember also that until Sunday the 10th, you can enjoy the Fideos Rossejats menus and the Tapa Marinera at the restaurants and bars in the town of L'Ametlla de Mar.
